HuckansLabs grew out of our need to design and build our own control equipment for AMO (atomic, molecular, and optical) physics experiments, instead of reaching for vastly expensive options or putting up with tedious interfaces and limited performance.

Now we are bringing our equipment to market, offering products that facilitate research for laboratories that would prefer to save themselves the same frustrations while enjoying high-precision experiment control that integrates easily into existing setups without draining the budget.

Now featuring

The RampBox

Our newest product is our arbitrary ramp generator (ARG) known as The RampBox. This device provides up to eight analog outputs for driving feed-forward voltage-controlled equipment with microsecond and millivolt precision, at just a fraction of the price per channel offered by similar controllers.

Designed in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, The RampBox is programmed using a custom-made visual interface for designing arbitrary changes in voltage as a function of time. The Python source code is freely available and able to be modified.
